Eternity Through Sunglasses

“The clouds, – the only birds that never sleep.”

- Victor Hugo

 Drugged with sunlight

she hallucinates a sky sea

filled with flocks of insomniac clouds

scouring the devils from eternity

with cotton tipped wings.
